1. Mt. Everest We have all heard of the world’s highest point…but have you ever thought what it would be like and look like trying to reach the top? It takes much courage and determination to get there; all the while knowing one slip or trip could be the end.

2. Purpose of “Field Trip” 1. Understand the steps it takes to reach the top of Mt. Everest. 2. Know the statistics of people who have made it there and those who have died trying. 3. To see what hikers see as they travel upward. 4. To question whether you would be able to embark upon this daunting feat.
