construction documentation for hardscape and landscape elements for a 200-acre urban redevelopment of
the former Cannon/Pillowtex Mills. Improvements include state-of-the-art biotech research facilities, retail,
office, and high density residential, along with a 12-acre central park.
LYNK Blue Line Extension, Charlotte, NC
Project Manager/Associate – Station location alternatives, preliminary station site planning and development,
and conceptual 3D visualizations for the 11-mile Blue Line Extension (Northeast Corridor) as an extension
of the LYNX Blue Line light rail service. The Northeast Corridor currently includes 13 stations and
extends from 9th
Street in Center City Charlotte to I-485 north of UNC Charlotte.
Brooklyn Village, Charlotte, NC
Project Manager/Associate - Design development and construction documentation for the public/private
sector implementation of the seven-block vision for the Second Ward neighborhood. The development
includes mixed use income for lease and for sale residential above dynamic ground level retail, Class A
office, and three acres of public parks and open space.
The Alpha Mill, Charlotte, NC
Project Manager/Landscape Designer - Historic Development of master plan and construction
documentation for the adaptive re-use of the Alpha Mill textile mill and strategic residential infill. Site work
for the 7-acre project includes courtyard pool and residence garden. Development has received state of
NC Historic Tax credits for the restoration of the existing mill structures and numerous awards and
recognitions for its adaptive reuse and residential infill.

Project Manger/Landscape Designer - Involved with full site design, design development, construction
document preparation, and construction administration for a vibrant and dynamic civic project that brings
together the Charlotte Main Library and the Charlotte Children’s Theater in a playful urban setting.
ImaginOn is the first public building in Charlotte and Mecklenburg County certified by the US Green
Building Council with a Silver Level LEED Certification.

Manager/Landscape Designer - Master Planning, construction documentation and construction
administration of a unique 1.46-acre lot with 41 residential units, while preserving 2 quadraplexes and a
three story brick home.
SouthPark Mall Expansion, Charlotte, NC
Manager/Landscape Designer - Rezoning; rezoning strategy, landscape architecture of a one million square
feet addition to prestigious regional mall, wetland delineation and impact study, stormwater detention/water
quality strategy, perimeter pedestrian promenade design and detail, and symphony park design and detail,
along with the creation of the Village at South Park – outdoor lifestyle development.
2005 ICSC International Design and Development Award – Renovation or Expansion of an Existing Project
Downtown Silver Spring, Silver Spring, MD
Landscape Designer - Design development and construction documentation for a three- block core
redevelopment area at the heart of downtown Silver Spring. The project represents a vertically integrated
development consisting of the American Film Institute, a multi-plex cinema, retail shops, office, hotel, urban
residential and structured parking facilities. Two dynamic and highly successful public plazas serve as the
organizing element for the diverse use.

3. Enclave, Charlotte, NC
Landscape Designer - Executed design, permitting, and construction of this urban residential infill
redevelopment of a public housing site. The project location was the former site of a public housing
development, public park and facilities, and parking associated with the adjacent, remaining community
recreation center, all owned by the Charlotte Housing Authority (CHA). Project features include a
luxurious pool amenity area with outdoor fireplace and grilling facilities, and a linear garden, which spans the
block and provides seat walls, trellis structures, bench seating, and two fountains for the enjoyment of the
residents.
Camden Square Village, Charlotte, NC
Landscape Designer - Land use planning and urban design for six acre SouthEnd brownfield infill site within
the Tremont Transit Station area. Proposed is 50,000 sf. Office and medium density residential with central
courtyard.
Senior Landscape Designer, HNTB Corporation, Charlotte, NC. - 2005 to 2006
Eastfield Station Urban Village, Charlotte, NC
Manager/Senior Landscape Designer – Development of master plan, rezoning and entitlement, and design
development for a 144 acre Transit Oriented Development with mixed-use village and village green. The
project is situated along the future CATS LRT North Corridor. The mixed-use village center includes
35,000sf of retail /commercial with 350 condominiums, 250 townhomes, while the remaining portions of the
site consist of 375 single family homes situated in ponds and wetlands.
Lakewood TND, Cramerton , NC
Manager/Senior Landscape Designer – Master planning, schematic design, rezoning, and design development
for a 142-acre neighborhood being designed as a traditional neighborhood development with a variety of
residential housing types, village center, parks, plazas, and community recreational facility. A pattern book
was also developed as part of the master planning and rezoning process.
Center City Streetcar, Charlotte, NC
Manager/Senior Landscape Designer – Master planning, land use study and streetscape design for the 10-
mile Center City Streetcar Corridor development serving the central business district and providing
connectivity to surrounding communities and institution.
