- To view the demo video on weebly, put the PowerPoint in presentation mode. Click on the link to view the video uploaded to YouTube and played in media player. Maximize the window for full view and click on arrow to play.
- Open voki and sign up for a free membership. Then follow the directions, either type in a message or record your own. Open the weebly link and look for the html code element. Click on edit to paste in the embedded code.
- You Tube will be blocked at school so you can always use your own video and upload it to Flickr if you sign up for an account. If you put a video from YouTube, your students will have to access it from home. If you upgrade to the pro level with weebly, you can download your own videos and podcasts for $2.99 a month for 2 years, and $3.99 for one year subscription.
- To convert files from YouTube, go to the zamzar site. Copy the URL from the YouTube video and go to step one on the Zamzar site. Click on the URL option and then paste your URL address. Make sure to look at the entire URL address and backspace away the second http:// at the front of the address. On step two choose the mp4 file on the drop down arrow. Step three put in your email address where you can retrieve the file. Step four click on convert. Wait a couple of minutes for the file to download and then check your email. You will have 24 hours to retrieve your file.
