2. Evaluation Starting Points The syllabus provides you with set questions that you will need to answer in terms of evaluating your practical work. You are not permitted to simply write your evaluation. Instead it will need to use digital technology. There is no word limit
3. The Set Questions In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? How does your media product represent particular social groups? What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why? Who would be the audience for your media product? How did you attract/address your audience? What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product? Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
8. Due Date Your evaluation, in whatever form, must be completed by Friday, April 9that 5 p.m. (NOTE: this is during the Easter holidays. Blogs will be accessed and saved and any changes you make will not be sent to the examiner.) You are encouraged to have your work finished by the end of this term
9. What To Do Your group will be provided with suggestions for each question by one of the chief examiners for Media Studies. You will also be given a sheet with each question and a small amount of space underneath for you to write. You need to write an initial account of what you need to include and how you plan to present this information. You can then work out a plan as to how you will use the rest of this term to complete as much of this as possible.
