the eight Greek Week teams was also assigned to a middle

the importance of attending college. The grand finale of Greek
Week was lip-sync. Each team puts on a lip sync performance,
an eight minute comedic skit complete with elaborate dance
numbers, a storyline, and of course, plenty of lip syncing. Our

3. Parents’ Weekend
Parents Day weekend this year was a huge success. We loved hosting
our parents for the weekend, showing them the sorority house,
introducing them to our friends, and what Theta is really all about!
The weekend festivities included dessert and a slideshow Friday
night, a barbeque and games at Meadow Park Saturday afternoon,
and a Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday morning. Despite the
mischevious antics of the fraternity next-door (they piled all the patio
furniture for over 100 guests on our roof), the event ran smoothly
and everyone had a great time. Sophomore Alumnae Relations
Chairman, Jenna Emadzadeh (pictured to the right with her mother)
who planned the weekend, pulled off the event fabulously!
Sister Twister
This May, we hosted a “Sister Twister,” a sisterhood activitiy
that we share with another sorority at our main house. We
loved having the ladies of Tri- Delta and Sigma Omega Nu
over to play board games and eat yummy pizza. Although it
would have been fitting, we did not play Twister but rather
more popular board games like “Apples to Apples” and
“Taboo.” Those in attendance had a great time mingling
and trying our hand at the fun games. Sister Twisters are an
excellent way to meet other Greeks in different houses!
AEΠ Dodgeball
Kappa Alpha Thetas also competed in Alpha Epsilon Pi’s
fundraiser, “Sorority Dodgeball” which raises charitable
funds for their national philanthropy. Pictured to the right
