1. Evaluation –
During my production process of my Unit 67 3D animation for the E6 fly through and my final
presentation of that fly through. I began by researching into different TV Stations like BBC Three and E4
Stings also into local radio stations that were similar and best suited to the ideas that I wanted my final
model and fly through to be. The research that I did for my Unit 67 proved that a simple task, this is
because I didn’t find the research difficult or challenging it was simple to go on the internet and find
what I needed and site the sources.
The next thing that I had to come up with was the ideas generation this was to show off my imagination
and originality onto a sheet of paper that would have different integrated ideas on it of how I was going
to create my final product. This task was hard for me to complete as when I started to work on my idea
generation it was hard to find ideas to integrate the E6 design into. I thought of appropriate ideas for my
work and come up with many different things that would be well used if I were to push them into a final
product.
When creating my storyboard I come up with the idea of doing it into a cinema design. For this is had to
capture everything a cinema had to offer within 30 seconds to show this I made my storyboard so that it
would show off the camera and projector the cinema room and then finally finish on showing the screen
where the E6 logo would be placed. This task wasn’t very difficult once I figured out how to capture and
move around all the objects in that one short clip.
When producing my E6 fly through I had to first make the decision of how big I wanted it to be, by this I
mean that what size I wanted the room that I was going to design my model of a cinema to be and how
much room I wanted to give my E6 logo to be able to be presented well on the screen.
Also I had to create a lot of objects in my scene to fully capture and allow people to understand and
realize that it is set in a cinema. To do this I first create the essential cinema projector this was easy as a
projector can be made with simple shapes and then pieced together to look good.
Whilst creating my finished product it wasn’t very difficult to build and place everything in the map.
Overall the cinema didn’t show many difficulties when designing it as it wasn’t anything completely new
that I had to use in the work.
After creating my cinema it was a simple process to render and then place into premiere pro. This I
thought was going to be difficult as I never used the premiere before so I was new to it and didn’t know
where anything was. To create the video it didn’t take much editing and difficulty as I only needed to cut
down the video a bit and then fit it into the 30 second gap.
Finally when using premiere I found many useful tools to help me complete my video and to get it as
close to what my raw footage was. Overall I found it useful and difficult to use but wasn’t a major
challenge in the end.
Overall I thought that everything I had to do to complete my work was a difficult but productive task and
my assignment showed to have a lot of challenges but few problems whilst on my way to completing it. I
2. think that the overall my assignment went well and was completed to good detail and strong in depth
research for my final presentation of my E6 final cut sequence.
