The Handspring Institute of Massage and Shiatsu (HIMAS) is one of the Philippine's leading massage training institution. It offers massage training courses such as Namikoshi Shiatsu, Swedish Massage, Pinoy Hilot, Balinese massage, Pindot Sarap, Indian Head massage, Namikoshi Chair massage. In 2009, it was accredited by the Department of Health as a DOH massage exams training institutions. Today, aside from its Manila office, HIMAS has also organized its first branch outside of Manila, the HIMAS Davao Branch headed by Ms. Lalaine Olubalang, LMT.
