Surveillance Database Automation
Client’s surveillance team has to monitor regularly (monthly) the performance of the securitized pool to ensure that it
is in line with the rating it has awarded. Earlier all data pertaining to the performance of these deals was maintained
in Excel sheets. For drawing conclusions or performing comparison between various deals, data was pulled out
manually from these excel sheets. With the increase in number of such deals, maintain data in XL and performing
various functions became very tedious and error prone.
Harrier developed a 3 tier web based system, client as a desktop application in C#, business logic residing in ASP.NET
web services deployed on IIS and data stored in MS SQL server 2000 database. The client application used Farpoint
spread control for user interface to be similar to that of MS excel. Following are the key features of the solution -

out in the UK. Its purpose is to monitor the clinical effects and to report trends in the use of VRF and to maintain these records
as a basis for research. The registry is intended to facilitate the uniform recording of all aspects of VRF treatment.

Challenges:
• Meeting the requirement of Rich User Interface, perfect to pixel was a big challenge. This was overcome by involving
client and developing the interface as per their specifications. Use of JQuery to achieve better GUI and animation effects.
• Developing the Customized Pop up was difficult and was achieved after multiple rework and research in JQuery.
• Picture comparison for comparing pre- and post-procedure images. JQuery and research helped in accomplishing this.

A Web based SCM system for medical devices with over 125 use cases, was required to be validation-tested.
Validation testing for US FDA Compliance

Challenges:
• Met challenging deadline - Authored 56 Test Scripts and executed all within 4 months as per the initial plan. This
was achieved through thorough planning, adequate and well-trained resources, prioritization of tasks, project
tracking, in-time risk management, teamwork and frequent interaction with the client by having working hours
overlapping with their time zone.
• Testing of an application based on Palm OS platform - Tested various functionalities of an application running on
Palm OS using Palm Simulator on MS Windows.
