GEARING CAPITAL PARTNERS AND STONE ADVISORS HAVE LAUNCHED GEARINGSTONE,
A DALLAS-BASED SPECIAL SERVICING COMPANY
Dallas, Texas (June 4, 2010) – Gearing Capital Partners, a real estate specialty finance company and
Stone Advisors, a distressed buyout and turn around firm specializing in troubled bank resolutions have
formed, GearingStone, an independent Dallas-based special servicing company focused exclusively on
maximizing the value of distressed commercial assets originating from troubled or failed financial
institutions.
GearingStone Chairman Kevin Fox, said, “There is a tremendous opportunity for efficient special
