Acerca de
Health Heritage is a decision support tool that generates an individual's comprehensive family health history automatically using natural language processing and electronic medical records. Each patient's unique family history is used to generate a personalized risk assessment for cancers known to be related to certain genetic profiles. Once an elevated level of risk is determined, physicians can order targeted genetic tests and refer patients to high-risk clinics and genetic counseling. Brian leads business development in support of the research and development team led by co-Founders Bill Knaus, MD, Leigh Baumgart, PhD and Will Thompson, PhD.
