Reg Kit 6 How Do We Steward Our Facilty & Equipment
1. Can I donate items to HEART?
Many of you have asked what some of the needs are and what you can donate, so we will put together a wish
list of items that you might be interested in making, donating, or giving away from your surplus. We encourage
anyone to give anything from our "wish list" any time.
One practical way to bless Bayside is to give them some janitorial supplies which are often used by HEART
Academy students and teachers. If you would like to bless Bayside, please feel free to give any of the
following:
Kirkland 45 gallon leaf and trash bags,
Kirkland drawstring kitchen bags 13 gallon,
hot water cups, paper cups, silverware, hand soap, dishwashing liquid,
tea, sugar packets, stir sticks.
You may bring these items in any time.
We also hold a Spelling Bee in May. In the past, we’ve had iTunes, Starbucks, Target, pizza, Coldstone, etc,
etc gift cards to actual physical prizes - ideas and suggestions are welcome! My hope is to have small
participation prizes for all the contestants but we'll have a grand champion as well as a 1st and 2nd runner up.
What about those not attending HEART?
Due to space constraints, please remember that only HEART Academy students are allowed to be on
campus.
All children not in HEART classes or signed in to study hall must be with their parents (and directly
supervised) AT ALL TIMES while on campus.
If you have children with you that are not attending classes, we would suggest taking turns with some other
families to take those children to someone's house, a neighboring park, McDonalds Play Land, etc. while
classes are going on for your children attending classes. Our goal is to provide an environment of respect and
safety while protecting the co-op, church, and other families.
Where do we park?
Parking in the back is reserved for the staff of HEART Academy, West Valley, Silicon Valley and Bayside
churches.
On the first day, park your car outside of the church and then walk in with your children. On subsequent
Fridays, you may pick up and drop off your kids in the back parking lot and then exit through to the other gate.

2. It is advisable for everyone to park away from the front of Willow Glen High School. Because you will be
entering and exiting Simpson Way or Cottle Avenue, it is best to park near these entrances.
What about the green stuff?
Please STAY OFF THE GRASS when we are walking around campus. Using the sidewalks can be a bit less
convenient, but it makes a BIG difference to the survival of that green stuff, and the consequent feel/look of the
property. We are guests of Bayside Community Church after all.
Where do we enter and exit?
Please use the Simpson Way or Cottle Avenue to exit and enter HEART Academy. Because of safety reasons,
we have been asked by Bayside not to use any of the 3 front entrances to the building such as the auditorium
entrance, fireside entrance and west entrance.
Which bathrooms are for adults and which one are for children?
For safety and protection, we have designated the auditorium bathrooms for TA’s and teachers only. Students
should use the bathrooms at the west end.
