Business Letters
Heading-  	contains : return address - is the address of the writer the date –when the letter was written The name of the writer is left out because is at the end of the letter. A business letter usually contains the following parts:
2.  inside address-  has:  the name of the person receiving the letter Their address
3. Greeting or salutation-  is the opening of the letter.  Capitalize the first word as well as any nouns (such as "Sir" or "Madam") and titles (such as "Mr." or "Director of Human Resources"). Has the recipient’s personal title (such as "Dr.") and last name.  The greeting of a business letter should be followed by a colon. (:)
4. body- describes the purpose of the letter  supporting details clear and straight to the point
5. closing-  marks the end of a letter.  there is a comma after the closing phrase  the first word in the closing is capitalized  include "Sincerely" and "Yours truly."
6. signature – signed name of the writer (proves that the writer wrote the letter and makes the letter a bit more personal.)
7. typed name and title – lets the reader know who exactly wrote the letter (just in case the signature isn't clear enough to read).  The writer should type his or her name and title (if he or she has a title).
8. enclosure notation-  lets the reader know that something other than the letter is included in the envelope.
