Road Construction on Custer Hill: Be aware that the traffic situation on Custer Hill is about to change: Construction of two roundabouts on
Custer Hill will start on 7 April 2014 and end in late October 2014. The two intersections involved are Estes Road at Kitty Drive and Estes Road
at Apennines Drive. Be advised, traffic patterns will vary during the construction period.

11 April kids Night at the Zoo-Hey kids! Leave the parents behind and join Sunset Zoo for an evening of fun and food. This program is designed
for school-age children without an adult. We'll enjoy dinner before we head out into the Zoo for games and animal encounters. A nocturnal
hike will top off the night. Maximum of 24 kids per session, minimum of 10. Pre-registration required. Cost is $15 per session; FOSZ member

11-12 April Saline County Sheriff’s Mounted Patrol & rescue Squad Rodeo: The Rodeo is at 7pm both nights. Each year our rodeo hosts over
5000 spectators from all around the country out to enjoy a great rodeo and show their support for our organization. In addition to these
attendees of the rodeo we always make sure to support those companies who support our rodeo first when it comes time for us to make
purchases both for personal and organizational use. We also use these programs throughout the year handing them out at the county fair, the
mall and anywhere that we can further educate citizens about what we do. If you would like to be a sponsor, please contact the Saline County

Eisenhower Marathon and Half Marathon will run through the territory south of Abilene that cattlemen followed when bringing their

19 April Ft Riley Easter Egg Hunt:. Fort Riley Family and MWR will hold the annual Easter Egg Hunt on the grounds of Riley’s Conference
Center. In addition to the egg hunt there will be free pictures with the Easter Bunny, Family activities, inflatable's, food vendors and more.
Admission is free. The first hunt kicks off at 11am on the dot, so be sure to come out and grab some of the 15,000 eggs hidden across the
grounds! Hunts will be organized by age groups to ensure all children succeed.

Golden Egg Hunt at 1100am with 20,000 eggs to be found, Games and fun for all ages, Cotton Candy, Bounce House, Face Painters,
Train Rides, and BBQ Hotdogs & Chips! Age brackets for the Easter Egg Hunt are 0-3 years old, 4-7 years old, and 8-11 years old. The
location of this event is Valley View Senior Life 1417 W Ash St Junction City, KS. This event is a fundraiser to help raise funds for a
Memorial recognizing our veterans from past wars. It would be located on the right side of the Kansas State Vietnam Veterans Memorial

holding their annual Kids Camp - Wildcats Under the Sea - at the end of April. (Boys and Girls) Kids ages 4-7 will meet from 5:30pm-
8:15pm on Friday, April 25, and kids ages 8-12 will meet from 9am-11:15am on Saturday, April 26. They will learn cheers and dances
