I have a close friend called…
I’ve known him/her for 10 years/since 2001
We met at work/school/university/a pub/through friends
We get on well although we don’t have a lot in common
We have quite different interests, we are complete opposites
I have to say that we have completely different tastes
We lost touch a couple of years, but now we keep in touch
regularly
In fact, we phone each other once a week and we see each
other about twice a month
We talk about our things
I’d love to get back in touch with her/him
I enjoy his /her company
