- The Campus belongs to the 17 percent largest science parks worldwide (measured by the number of residents) - source: International Association of Science Parks.The companies on the Campus are responsible for nearly 50 percent of all patent applications in the Netherlands- source: EPO Worldwide Patent Statistical Database. Withthis, the Campus contributes in a large way to the Brainport region, which is second in Europe with 854 patent per millioninhabitants. A studydone by Buck Consultants International commissionedby the Dutch Ministry of EconomicAffairs shows the Campus is of nationalsignificance.
