2. For this project there are 3 main cultures which are food
cultures, architecture culture, and activities culture. Among this 3 culture I
choose architecture which lead me to this religion place as my title. The
reason I choose this is because nowadays lots of people tend to forget wha
the reason and purpose of their life they forget what their ancestor believe
Although Chinese temple might be a old and forsaken place but I still have
faith in this beautiful and well build temple.
A Chinese temple is a worship place of the Chinese folk religion, where
people revere ethnic Chinese gods and ancestors. There are lots of people
and events going on in the temple during special festival as a culture and
blessing.
I take this opportunity to introduce an old Chinese temple located in my
hometown which is Lahad Datu, Sabah. The temple has more than 100
Years of history and was built even before the beginning of the town.
The title for this book is the name of the temple “Guan Ti Old Temple”.
Well the reason behind this is simple that is because I want everybody to
remember the history of this temple so that even the future generation
will continue to go and worship at this temple.
In this Booklet I use the brownish yellow background to show the special
and unique temple which is very old. I also used the red box for title
which is to show the Chinese religion and culture.
