• People use blogs to communicate with other people
around the world.
• You use them to store your work and it is an easy
way for your parents to see it.
• People use blogs to present projects.
• A blog is a website.
• A social place.
• A website different tools, eg. Widgets.

4. The most fun things about blogs…
• Personalising it, and putting stuff on it of your
choice like pictures and movies.
• Receiving your first comment.
• Getting things on your side bar.
• Finding dots on your cluster map from people
around the world.

6. Safety using blogs.
• Make a username or just use your first name.
• Do not use your last name or anybody else’s.
• Never show personal ID- phone
numbers, addresses, bank accounts and don’t tell
anyone where you live.
• Don’t use/identify photos of yourself.( use group
photos)
• Don’t accept spam comments.
• Don’t write or post comments that will bully anyone.
• Don’t place inappropriate graphics on it.
• Beware of copyright laws.

• Only use your own work, music, photos, pictures unless you
have got the owner’s permission.
• No coarse language.
• Don’t try to guess other people’s password don’t tell other
people your password.
• Don’t agree to meet anybody unless you already know
them in person.
• Beware of and check privacy settings.
• Don’t make up false information.
• If you came across something unpleasant or are being
bullied then tell a adult or a teacher. If this happens exit it.
