POSITIONS

2. YOUTH DIRECTOR
QUALIFICATIONS:
 Age of 18 or older
 Filled with the Holy Spirit
 Passion for Youth & Jesus
 Patience/Long-temper
 Attend church more than 2 years
 1 year experience in the youth board
 Be able to effectively communicate with parents
 Be able to effectively “connect” with the youth
 Must have: Car/Transportation, Cell phone, Ability to speak in Hmong
and Outgoing personality
 Must have skills in: Communication, Creativity, Initiating, Pro-activeness,
Assertiveness, Delegating, Schedule, Organization, Decision making,
Changes, Conflict resolution, Confronting problems, Flexibility and
Leadership

3. YOUTH DIRECTOR
DUTIES:
 Attendance of meetings throughout year. Serve as chairperson and effectively run
meetings, encouraging participation, controlling the meetings agenda and keeping
the meeting in running order
 Attend the adult board meeting
 In charge of communication with all the board in church. Communication to Pastor
with events or when plans come up. Also communication with outside church leaders
& working with them
 Notice Chuck if needed to request space at church
 Encouraging and enabling young people by praying and ministry
 Will be in charge of events and places for: Funeral, Leadership
event, Outreach, Activities, etc.
 Tell the youth board members what needs to be done with their role
 Oversee and equip a team of volunteer youth leaders to ensure that the overall
mission of youth ministry at House of God is carried out. Should meet regularly with
volunteer youth leaders
 Helping the youth to develop and enhance their personal relationships with Christ
and with each other
 Equipping and leading the youth to reach out to other youth who are un-churched
 Reporting monthly to Pastor, including a summary of activities from the precious
month, upcoming plans for future months and any issues that need to be resolved

4. SECRETARY
QUALIFICATIONS:
 Age of 16 or older
 Must have: Car/Transportation, Cell phone, Ability to speak in
Hmong, Communication and Access to Internet/Computer
 Must have skills in: Memory, Organization, Working well with others and
Good note taking
DUTIES:
 Give reminders and communicate to the youth either by phone or
internet
 Be in charge of announcements
 Take notes during board meetings & report back
 Organize meetings to run efficiently
 Create calendar
 In charge of the media (facebook, myspace, emails & etc) & Hogy News
(Sunday)
 Attends all meetings with the Youth Director

5. TREASURE
QUALIFICATIONS:
 Age of 18 or older
 Must have: Car/Transportation, Cell phone and Ability to speak in Hmong
 Must have skills in: Basic math, Discipline and Self control, Responsibility, Trust to
hold youth money and Organization
 Trained
DUTIES:
 Online banking
 Responsible for banking, communicating with the bank & HOG church treasure
 Record offering, balance and anything that deals with collecting money for HOGY
 Collect data and explain balance or transaction to board members
 Make a yearly budget & list for HOGY and each position
 In charge of Getting change, Reimbursement, Donations & making purchases
 Pray for tithing
 Collecting funds from Activity Coordinator
 In charge of the fundraise team or come up with fundraising ideas
 Coordinate and organize Shekinah funds

6. ACTIVITY COORDINATOR (2)
QUALIFICATIONS:
 Age of 16 or older
 Must have: Car/Transportation, Cell phone, Ability to
speak in Hmong and Outgoing personality
 Must be skilled in: Planning, Organization, Leadership
and Dependable
 Responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing
activities to promote fun, fellowship, spiritual development
and ministry involvement
 Passion for: Organizing activities, promoting a sense of
unity and fellowship among youth

7. ACTIVITY COORDINATOR
DUTIES:
 Plan activities for youth:
a. Youth activities – fun and fellowship
- Girls Night and Boys Night
- Welcome Party
- Youth Retreat
- Movie Night
- Holiday Parties
b. Other activities (Events) – ministry opportunities for youth to use their spiritual gifts and talents
in Christian service; volunteering, help the Niam Tsev and Txiv Tsev
Example of past activities:
- Valentine Banquet for the adults
- Hallelujah Night
- IHOP – KC
 Icebreaker games
 Recruit volunteers to become youth activities assistants to help oversee and carry out activities
 Develop/provide permission slips for parents to complete and sign
 Create sign-up sheet for volunteers
 Maintain communication with youth board
 Pray for guidance and direction and for great spiritual results from activities

8. PRAYER COORDINATOR
QUALIFICATIONS:
 Age 16 or older
 Be called for prayer
 Must have: Car/Transportation, Cell phone, Ability to speak in Hmong,
Spiritual maturity to pray and deliver, A prayer life, A personal
relationship with God
 Must be skilled in: Leading, Regulations/Delegation, Knowing the Word,
Discipleship, Organization and Communication
 Trained
DUTIES:
 Find and coordinate a team
 Intercede for the youth group, the church and the youth board and
encourage members to also intercede for the congregation
 Lead prayer at Praise & Worship nights
 Coordinate Prayer events
 Communicate with worship coordinator and team
 Collaborate with prayer coordinators at other churches

9. OUTREACH COORDINATOR
QUALIFICATIONS:
 Age of 16 or older
 Must have: Car/Transportation, Cell phone, Ability to speak in Hmong,
 Must be skilled in: Organization and Communication
 Resourceful/Networks/Connections
 Trained
DUTIES:
 Responsible for activities outside of church
 Outreach activities – fun activities for reaching out to unsaved or un-
churched youth, building relationships and presenting the gospel;
collaborate with Youth Prayer Coordinator
Example of past activities:
- Godtown – John Tolo
- Hmong Resource Fair
 Collaborate with Prayer & Activity coordinator
 Collaborate with other churches
 Communicate with Pastor

10. WORSHIP COORDINATOR
QUALIFICATIONS:
 Age of 15 or older
 Holy Spirit FILLED and LED
 Passion for worship and to lead God's people in praise
 Be open to new or different things/ways that worship may be led
 Must have: Car/Transportation, Cell phone, and Ability to speak in
Hmong
 Must be skilled in: Singing or knows how to play an instrument
well/fluently (Both the better), Knows how to set up the sound system
(Simple & Complex), Organization, and Leadership
 Trained

11. WORSHIP COORDINATOR
DUTIES:
 In charge of finding songs for events: Funerals & Holidays etc.
 Teach songs monthly
 Must communicate with Pastor, Youth Director and Prayer Coordinator
about what you are doing and going to do
 SATURDAY NIGHTS:
- Needs to be at church at 5:30PM to help the group set up (Sound
System)
- Find a group to sing/play for every Saturday (Groups can be out of or in
church)
- The group(s)/people must know how to sing Hmong songs
- Must have an even amount of English and Hmong songs (6-8 songs
total)
- Must be ready to flow with the Holy Spirit and with whatever Pastor or
the Prayer Coordinator has in store for the night
- Must have devotion and prayer before practice with the group

12. SUNDAY SCHOOL COORDINATOR
QUALIFICATIONS:
 Age 16 or older
 Passionate about the Word of God
 Must have: Car/Transportation, Cell phone, Ability to speak in Hmong,
 Must be skilled in: Leading, Knowing the
Word, Organization, Communication and Creativeness
DUTIES:
 Make schedule for Sunday School (teach/or teachers)
 Find people to teach
 Guide others to growth in understanding the Word of God (Resources)
 Be there for every Sunday School
 Notifying Boards who’s teaching
 No last minute
 Be prepared to teach at all times!

13. SUNSHINE
QUALIFICATIONS:
 Age 14 or older
 Must have: Cell phone, Ability to speak in Hmong and
Outgoing personality
 Must be skilled in: Communication, Creativeness and
Organization
DUTIES:
 Registering Youth information
 Reach out to the new youth & in charge of finding group
to welcome people
 Make flyers for events & contact lists
 In charge of birthdays (birthday cards, gifts & wishing
them Happy Birthday)
 Get in touch with people who don’t show up anymore
 Have fun 
