Leavers Special!
Memories!
I have spent a few hours going through my photo collection, dating back to
September 2005; as you can see, I have found some lovely photos of our Year 6ʼs
in their first few days at school. I hope you enjoy looking at these half as much as I
have putting together this newsletter...some amazing memories!

3. It has been an emotional few weeks.
Unfortunately, due to my wife Carolineʼs battle against cancer, I have missed the last two
Leavers Days. I am so pleased to be in school this year and to help ʻsee offʼ (in the nicest
possible way!) our 2012 Year 6ʼs.
On a personal note, I have shared so much with this group of children. We started our time
at Holy Trinity together, and as a result, part of me will leave Holy Trinity when they leave
this week.
Your children have brought so much joy to my working life. They have an uncanny knack of
bringing humour and hilarity to almost any situation and yet the dedication and effort they
bring to their work has been nothing short of remarkable. I have always been proud of
them, but the way in which they have grown and matured over the last year has left me
quite speechless.
I think the photoʼs I have collected over the years tell a real story. The smiles and
expressions show how they have bonded and the children that have joined them over time
have always been welcomed with ʻopen armsʼ and have become an integral part of their
ʻgangʼ. Thank you Year 6. I will miss you and so too will Holy Trinity.
