2008 by epidemiologists Dr. Mark Stibich and Dr.
Julie Stachowiak both holding doctoral degrees
from Johns Hopkins and is headquartered in San
Antonio, Texas.
• Xenex has about 120 employees.
• The company has received a total of $54.3M in
funding from investors. The most recent funding
round was $25M in January 2015.
• The company’s product Xenex Germ-Zapping
Robot, launched in 2010, is now in use in more
than 250 U.S. hospitals.

3. XENEX – THE CHANGE
• The company switched to using GrabCAD Workbench for version tracking and sharing product
designs with non-CAD users.
• Partner Spaces provided by the PDM solution made it really easy to share the drawings and
models with vendors.
• The design changes that are made are reflected in the partner space, so there is no need to send updated
drawings separately.
