       Remata o ano e tentamos facer balance do que fixemos e tamén do que non
conseguimos realizar ao longo dos 365 días que despedimos. Todos facemos ese repaso.
Os máis extravertid@s publican, pola euforia do momento ou polo efecto do cava, que
deixarán de fumar, aprenderán a calcetar ou que por fin corrixirán ese problema coa
puntualidade... Outr@s a pesar de non dicir nada tamén organizan os seus desexos e
“autoprometen” para si mesm@s que, este ano si, irán regularmente ao ximnasio ou
estudiarán inglés.
       Probablemente a promesa máis repetida é a da perda de peso. Estamos nunha
sociedade sobrealimentada e máis nestas datas, así que a todos nos pesan os excesos.
Ademais é agora o momento de comezar a “operación bikini” e ¡non no mes de maio!
       Para saber se nos sobran uns kiliños, ademais de mirarnos nun “espello realista”,
o importante é saber a porcentaxe de graxa ¡O QUE IMPORTA NON É O PESO
TOTAL, SENÓN OS KILOS DE GRAXA! Xa que existen tantas constitucións como
persoas. Ter acceso a este dato é difícil, tan so se pode obter por adipometría (medindo
pregues de graxa) ou por impedancia eléctrica.
       O peso ideal que nos indican algunhas fórmulas é moi relativo xa que depende
do biotipo de cada persoa, sen embargo para que nos sirva de aproximación, a seguinte
fórmula, pódenos resultar de máis axuda que o simple cálculo do IMC (índice de masa
corporal).

                                                      h: altura en cm
HOMES

         47 +          × 2,2

       Así por exemplo, se quixésemos aplicar esta fórmula a unha muller cunha altura
de 1,66 m. e un peso de 58,3 kg. Este sería o resultado:


                166 − 152      
          45 +            × 2,2 = 57,125
                2,54           
A nosa amiga imaxinaria apenas tería que adelgazar (58,3 - 57,125 = 1,175kg)

¡Lembrade que non tod@s temos a mesma constitución!




       Así que asumindo que este ano que comeza é igual que calquera outro para
facernos promesas, so vos quero desexar a todos e a todas SAUDE E SORTE neste
2012 que comeza a camiñar.
