 Broward ID Number (given by instructor)
 Broward Password (Birthday: MMYYYY format)

1. Go to www.broward.edu
2. Click on the link “my BC”
3. Enter your given student ID
4. Enter your password (MMYYYY)
*Note if MMYYYY does not work, try DDYYYY*
5. You will then be taken through a series of pages

Now)
8. Broward Authorization Information Form (3 questions
should answer „yes‟ then submit)
9. 1098T Delivery Preference (Accept Electronic
Delivery)

(Review now)
11. Bill Delivery Preference (Electronic copy, submit)
* Note: Do not worry if your address is correct or not*
12. Change Security Question & Answer (Choose a
question & type the answer)
13. Log off & login again

Steps for email setup:
14. After logging-in, view “my details” and you will see
“institutional email”
It will look like: emailname@mail.broward.edu
Remember or write down this email
*Note: You do not need to use this email, but the email
name will be used to log-in to Blackboard*

7. Using
Blackboard
To access Blackboard, use the following steps:
1. Visit elearning.broward.edu (or click Blackboard from
my BC)
2. Type your username (Broward email name)
*Note: Do not type @mail.broward.edu *
3. Type your password (same as myBC/email
password)
4. Click on the course you are enrolled in

8. Finished!
You now have everything you need for
PHI2600 Class!

orientation in Blackboard
