The use of torches was common but most often the words spoken by the characters gave
away that it was dark. In this scene there are several instances of this but I would draw your
attention to two specific ones: one is overt (spoken by Bernardo) the other slyly crafted
(spoken by Horatio). Can you spot them? Hint they occur in a similar fashion- during
introductions to other characters.
