People – a major factors in consumer purchasing decisons
• Product, Price, Promotion,
Physical distribution, People
• Cultural, social and personal factors
are always considered to be the major
forces influencing consumers’
buying behaviour (Kotler and Keller,
2006)
• Convinced people (policy makers,
industry experts, installers, friends … ,
neighbours) can change the way
Europe heats/cools/produces hot water

If it becomes more visible, that
other people have bought a heat
pump already, more people
might make that purchasing
decision!

• If more policy makers
understand
what heat pumps can do,
how much energy they save,
how abundant that
technology is,
they will give HP more
support.
