When you’re simultaneously running a number of big and
complex projects, the ability to minimize risk is absolutely
critical. So Damen, the largest shipbuilders in the Netherlands,
formulated a plan called Dawn, with the sole intention of
standardizing processes, systems and data throughout the
organization.
To successfully implement the plan, Damen needed to find
a solution that could provide the highest level of integration
and functionality together with a user interface that is so user-
friendly it actually encourages user participation. It seemed like
a tall order until Damen took a close look at IFS Applications 7.5
