Legalize Graffiti
Do you want to see works like these on
our streets?
• it's cool :)

• Graffiti makes the streets colorful and
  alive

• I would really like to see beautiful art
like these on our streets! :)
Brief History
    Rome Egypt
Why legalize it?
• Vandalism
“All acts of private and public destruction and distraction are
forms of vandalism. Destruction through construction is a
                     different story.” - hepe

• Cops

• We have many talented artists
Satisfaction
• Legalize graffiti on designated parts of our
  streets
• Decrease incidents of structures getting
  vandalized
• Graff artists don’t ask for commission
Visualization
• Making such art spaces like legal graffiti walls will serve
as a forum for democratic political expression

• Because graffiti is illegal the youths do it as
  a way to rebel

• Graffiti art will help beautify our landscapes with
  exhibition of public art

• It will promote people to come to certain streets
  which are secluded

• It will make traffic bearable
Action

Our government should provide free
art spaces and legal walls for our
 artists!
Action
“ It helped revitalize that area. A St. John’s legal
     lot of people would normally
not walk through this walkway graffiti wall
because it was so dingy and it
    looked so bad. Now, because
of what we have done, it's
now opened up and a lot
      more people travel through
    this back lane. ” -Montgomery
                  Hall
