This study examined the effects of instructor and peer feedback on pre-service teachers' (PST) lesson delivery. Sixteen PST taught 12 lessons while receiving real-time feedback via earpiece from either an instructor, peer, or no feedback (control). Lessons were coded for frequency of performance feedback statements and sector changes. Results showed PST provided feedback more often with instructor cues. Sector changes increased slightly with cues but differences were not significant. Interviews revealed that PST focused more on teaching with cues but cues could be distracting. PST suggested improving cue implementation and noted differences between peer and instructor feedback. Overall, results support using earpiece technology to provide feedback during teacher training in physical education.
