5. How to Apply
Complete the online application (www.cuw.edu/apply) and submit the following items:
1. Application fee of $50.00 U.S. dollars online or send money order or cashier’s check.
2. Official transcripts from all schools attended. If the transcripts are not in English, please have them
translated into English and attested.
3. TOEFL or IELTS scores.
4. A brief typed resume (graduate students only).
5. A one-page statement of purpose stating why you would like to enroll at CUW.
6. Two (2) reference letters from previous teachers and/or employers.
7. A bank statement with the balance converted into U.S. dollars. If a relative or parent is sponsoring
you, please submit their letter of support along with their bank statements. If a company is
sponsoring you, please have that company write a letter of support and provide a financial
statement from the company on company letterhead.
8. If available, please enclose a copy of your passport. If currently in the
U.S., please provide copies of your I-94, passport, and visa.
Admission
Requirements
Undergraduates:
GPA must be equivalent to a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale,
and the required minimum TOEFL score to be
accepted to CUW: 500 on the paper-based test
OR 173 on the computer-based test OR at least
a 61 on the internet-based test OR a minimum
score of 5.5 on the IELTS.
Graduates:
GPA must be equivalent to a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale,
and the required minimum TOEFL score to be
