THE LED DIFFERENCE
The decision to migrate to LED technology led to the
elimination of 12,340 Watts of Energy. This 2,200
square foot space formerly consumed 3,960 Watts.
Today, the space consumes a mere 660 Watts of
energy or the equivalent of 11 – 60 Watt Lamps
THE DC MICROGRID
The Energy One Sign on the building is formerly a
Neon sign that used 1200 Watts, today, it consumes
80 Watts and is powered by 24 Volts DC. The lobby
lamps are switchless and are powered by 24 VDC
while the teller lamps are 10 Watts each, powered by
24 Volt DC and are dimmable in 2 zones.
FOR COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES
Every decision maker has a choice today. In this post renovation case our opportunity
was to continue to consume 3,960 Watts and replace lamps every 1,000 to 6,000 hours
–or- to consume 660 Watts, replace lamps at 89,000 to 100,000 hours, choose
sustainability over waste, and improve security.
THE UTILISAFE© PROPERTY
The Energy One Credit Union gains access to
network resources over a private campus network
segment. The network supports advanced burglar
alarm and silent alert technology, managed
surveillance, and property wide access control. A
DC Microgrid eliminates use of switches on walls
and provides remote control in the event of a
nighttime event or alarm. This combination enhances
security and force protection in the event of a life or
property threatening event. A UtiliSAFE© property
can be constructed in one building or incorporated
into a campus fabric as large as 729
square miles.
