This document describes a home automation system that uses a resistive touch screen and wireless sensors to control devices in the home. A microcontroller is interfaced with the touch screen to send on/off commands wirelessly to receiver modules connected to loads like lights and fans. The touch screen allows users to control devices grouped by function (morning, evening, etc). The system was designed and tested using simulation software. It aims to provide convenient centralized control of home appliances to help elderly and disabled people.
