are that it causes pollution, it is a non-
renewable resource and it needs to be
mined from the earth.

This might sound like the
perfect energy but it is
costly and besides, you
can’t be sure that the sun
will shine brightly without
cloud cover everywhere in
the country every day.

and use the sunlight instead of turning on the lights.
Don't windows or doors open when the air conditioning is on.
This makes the AC have to work harder to cool a room.

Take advantage of daylight
by using light-colored, loose-
weave curtains on your
windows to allow daylight to
penetrate the room. Also,
decorate with lighter colors
that reflect daylight.
De-dust lighting fixtures to
maintain illumination.
Use electronic chokes in
place of conventional copper
chokes.
