Kainos acquires Cloudator’s Workday division
Kainos, a leading digital technology company and Workday Services
Partner announced it has completed the acquisition of Cloudator Oy’s
Workday division. This acquisition further strengthens Kainos’
investments in the European markets and expands its partnership with
Workday. Founded in 2011 in Helsinki, Finland, Cloudator offers

Acquisition accelerates HPE Storage’s transformation to a cloud-native,
software-defined data services business
Hewlett Packard Enterprise announced that it has entered into a
definitive agreement to acquire Zerto, an industry leader in cloud data
management and protection, in a transaction valued at $374 million.
This acquisition expands HPE GreenLake and continues to deliver on
HPE Storage’s shift to a cloud-native, software-defined data services
business. Zerto’s journal-based continuous data protection (CDP)
technology includes disaster recovery, backup, and data mobility in a
single, simple cloud data management and protection software
solution that spans on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud
environments. The data protection as a service (aaS) market will grow
from $7.7B in 2020 to $15.3B in 2024, representing a 19% CAGR.1
Zerto will be available aaS through HPE GreenLake and Data Services
Cloud Console.

Hitachi Completes Acquisition of GlobalLogic
Hitachi, Ltd. announced that it has completed the acquisition of
GlobalLogic Inc. pursuant to the terms of the definitive agreement
signed on March 31, 2021. As announced in the press release dated
March 31, Hitachi Global Digital Holdings LLC ("HGDH"), a U.S.
subsidiary of Hitachi, has acquired 100% of the outstanding shares of
GlobalLogic Worldwide Holdings, Inc. the parent company of
GlobalLogic, and GlobalLogic Worldwide Holdings and GlobalLogic
have become wholly owned subsidiaries of HGDH. With more than
21,000 professionals working in engineering centers, and design studios

Twilio Completes Acquisition of Zipwhip, a Leading Provider of Toll-Free Messaging
in the United States
Twilio the leading cloud communications platform announced the
successful completion of its previously announced acquisition of
Zipwhip, a trusted partner to carriers and a leading provider of
toll-free messaging in the United States. This transaction is valued
at approximately $850 million in an approximately equal blend of
cash and stock. Zipwhip will operate as part of Twilio’s
Communications Platform Unit with John Lauer, current CEO of
Zipwhip, reporting to Simon Khalaf, as the two companies finalize
their integration roadmap.

Adobe announced the Adobe Analytics curriculum for education, a global program that supports the future workforce with in-demand data science
skills. As part of the next generation of the Adobe Education Exchange, college instructors and students will be able to use Adobe Analytics—the
industry-leading customer data analytics platform—for free and get access to course curriculum with hands-on activities. Students will learn how to use
data to drive business decisions and gain skills for careers spanning data science to marketing and product management. The program is an extension
of the Adobe Creative Campus program, which advances digital literacy through access to Adobe Creative Cloud in the classroom. The program was
developed through the Adobe Analytics Challenge, which launched in 2005. The popular competition gives college students a chance to work with real
data to solve business challenges, from companies such as Nike, Major League Baseball and Sony Playstation. Past participants have used the
experience to land careers at The Home Depot, Boston Consulting Group, Amazon and nonprofits like Learning Forward. The success of the event
drove interest from higher education instructors, who wanted to include elements of the Challenge in their coursework. Professors from institutions
including the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Utah and University of Michigan partnered with Adobe to develop the curriculum,
helping shape the program to ensure it is easy to implement among any college or university. The program has four core modules that can be
incorporated into any curriculum. Participants get access to a sandbox environment, which allows students to use Adobe Analytics with rich demo data.

Xandr announced the launch of a first of its kind technology that is aimed to help the largest TV distributors better manage
and sell addressable inventory holistically. Building on Xandr’s leading forecasting capabilities, Yield Analytics’
converged inventory analysis unifies audiences and ad systems across linear addressable and OTT so sellers can maximize
total yield and enable buyers to reach the audiences they care about at scale. As consumers continue to move away from
traditional TV and toward streaming, MVPDs have created their own streaming channels to offset viewership declines.
The resulting fragmented programming and divide in business models have created a need for a consolidated advertising

privacy-safe way. The ‘Shaping the Future of Identity’ guide by Xandr aims to provide a look at the impending path forward. It will

• Routing and visitor segmentation rules – Agents can create specific conditions and rules to route certain user types to a target department (e.g., routing a visitor
to their account manager if they have been assigned an account manager in Dynamics 365). Furthermore, agents can use information stored within Dynamics 365

DigiCert announced that it is now issuing Verified Mark Certificates, compliant with the BIMI standard. VMCs issued by DigiCert enable
companies to add their trademarked logos to emails they send to their customers to increase recognition, open and engagement rates and
brand impressions, while bringing greater trust and transparency to email via DMARC. Gmail now recognizes VMCs and displays
company logos in the user’s inbox. Paired with the required DMARC enforcement, VMCs are a critical step in a series of security
measures that help strengthen email security, build trust in the inbox and help users associate the brand logo with the company they expect
to communicate with. VMCs:
• Allow companies to place a verified, trademarked logo alongside their email.
• Enable customers to see the sender’s brand in the inbox of their mobile client before opening the email.
• Provide marketers an affordable way to achieve more brand impressions.
VMCs are available as part of the BIMI standard, which seeks to increase adoption of DMARC as a key email security mechanism. By
utilizing VMCs secured by DMARC, organizations demonstrate their commitment to email security and protection of customer privacy.

5G portfolio. The solution includes HPE 5G Automated Assurances and a new 5G capabilities for HPE Service Director, which together
simplify the management of 5G networks and reduce deployment risks through a zero-touch, closed-loop system. The new automation
software monitors and orchestrates the network functions, infrastructure, slices and services, automatically acting on issues detected to
secure service continuity. The software is pre-integrated with HPE’s open 5G solutions, including the HPE 5G Core Stack, as well as
leveraging open-source technologies and offering open APIs to integrate with multi-vendor deployments. While 5G will bring huge
enhancements in terms of bandwidth, latency and the number of devices and services supported, it also introduces massive complexity
and operational risks for network operators. 5G standards have been designed to embrace open, cloud-native platforms that utilize
disaggregated software and hardware components from a variety of vendors. As a result, telcos deploying 5G networks will need to

year, Software Engineer and Earn as You Learn graduate James Matchett received the coveted award for Higher Level Apprentice, recognizing the
best apprentice in any firm within Northern Ireland that year. The Large Employer Award is designed to acknowledge excellence and originality
in the delivery of apprenticeship training, and was awarded to Kainos in recognition of its pioneering Earn As You Learn scheme. In conjunction
with Ulster University, Kainos has been running the Earn As You Learn (EAYL) scheme since 2012 and has seen over 60 young people undertake
the programme since its conception. Apprentices enjoy an intensive 8 week training academy at the beginning of their journey dedicated to giving
them the skills they need to start working on live projects. They then start an 18 month programme of development to improve their professional
skills, business orientation and discipline-specific knowledge. Alongside this on the job training, EAYL participants earn a degree in Computing
Systems from Ulster University. Their tuition fees are paid in full and they also earn a competitive salary as well as enjoying all the other benefits
Kainos has to offer, with a guaranteed job at the end of their course. EAYL participants include James Matchett, the winner of the Higher Level

attesting to the fact that terminating service providers and end users can trust that the call is not illegally spoofed. STIR/SHAKEN is a set
of protocols developed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS)
and the SIP Forum that verifies not only whether a caller has the right to use a calling number but that the caller is a known entity by the
originating party. In addition, call analytic treatment can help inform end users of a caller’s identity by adding additional information to
determine if the call is wanted or not. Calls have to be wanted if they are determined to be potentially illegitimate based on call analytic
treatment, end users will be warned ahead of time by some type of an indicator on the screen when the call arrives. Depending on what
type of handset and network the individual is using, calls might arrive with a green check mark to confirm the number is not illegally
spoofed, or the handset could label a call with a warning like “Spam Risk” to alert the consumer that the call could be unwanted or

Radware® a leading provider of cyber security and application delivery solutions, and Acantho, a telecommunications subsidiary of Italy-based
Hera Group announced an expanded partnership to provide cloud web application security protection to enterprise customers in Italy. Through this
extended agreement, Acantho has also upgraded its own infrastructure with Radware’s hybrid DDoS protection. Acantho will now offer Radware’s
Cloud WAF service, including Bot Manager, to enterprise customers for enhanced quality of service and application security. With application
availability more important to the user experience than ever, web applications are becoming increasingly vulnerable, exposing enterprises to the
risk of data breach and financial loss. Cloud WAF Service addresses these threats directly and effectively. Acantho also upgraded its own
infrastructure with Radware’s Hybrid DDoS Attack Protection, which includes a combination of DefensePro solutions and Radware’s Cloud DDoS
Protection, which offers on-demand cloud DDoS service deployment. For the past three years, Acantho has relied upon Radware’s DefensePro
attack mitigation to provide automated DDoS defense and protection from fast moving, high-volume, encrypted or very short duration threats for
its two data centers. Based upon its successful experience with DefensePro and an increased customer demand application protection security due
to rapid cloud migration and increased cloud attacks, Acantho turned to Radware again to bring cloud protection to their customers and to
