INTRODUCTION

• Personality Development is the sum total of
ways in which an individual reacts and
interacts with others. Or Personality is
generally defined as the deeply ingrained and
relatively enduring patterns of thought, feeling
and behavior. In fact, when one refers to
personality, it generally implies to all what is
unique about an individual, the characteristics
that makes one stand out in a crowd.

 Definition: Interpersonal skills are the life skills
we use everyday to communicate and interact
with other people, both individually and in
groups.
 People who have worked on developing strong
interpersonal skills are usually more successful
in both their professional & personal lives.
A list of interpersonal skills :
 Verbal communication – “what we say and how
we say it “
 Non-verbal communication – “what we
communicate without words, body language is
an example”
 Listening skills – “how we interpret both the
verbal and non-verbal messages sent by others”

hearing. Take time to listen carefully to what
others are saying through their verbal and
non-verbal communication.
o Choose your words: Be aware of the words you
are using when talking to others.

communication is rarely perfect and can fail for
number of reasons.

more quickly and therefore less clearly.

to.
o Be positive: Try to remain positive and cheerful.

have different points of view. Try to see things
from their perspective.

changes would you bring about in the movie.
This are the change I would have done:

changed the character’s in the movie & the way
they motivated.
2. Script: Its is a very simple story of a boy getting
into corporate world and trying to make a
career he can be proud of.
I would have made the story complicated with
lots of twists to entertain you and give you a
wholesome masala experience of 3 idiots 
3. Plot Holes: I have a firm belief that setting a
clever story, telling it fascinatingly is way easier
than winding it up convincingly.
4. Casting: Rocket Singh is story of youth straight
out of college. The youth is portrayed by 27
year old actor. Since this is the basic need of the
film, no special points.
5. Misplaced moral values: Rocket Singh sees the
protagonist cheating his BOSS to get back at
him. All while he is guilty and he knows what he
is doing is wrong. He never proclaims to be the
honest goodie two shoes.
Unit 1: LO4 (D3)

who is always down in dumps. Do your best to

everyone you work with and let them hear it.
Be generous with praise and kind words of

happy milestone, and express concern and
sympathy for difficult situations such as an

demonstrate that you intend to hear and
understand another’s point of view. It means
restating, in your own words, what the other
person has said.
o Bring people together: Create an environment
that encourages others to work together. Treat
everyone equally, and don’t play favorites. Avoid
talking about others behind their backs.
o Resolve conflicts: take a step beyond simply
bringing people together, and become someone

able to put yourself in someone’s else’s shoes
and understand how they feel. Try to view
situations and responses from another persons
perspective.
o Don’t complain: there is nothing worse then a
chronic complainer or whiner. If you simply
have to vent about something, save it for your
dairy. If you must verbalize your grievance,
went to your personal friends and family, and
keep it short. Spare those around you, or else
you’ll get a bad reputation.

Q. What barriers did you face during your field visit.
How can it be translated into your deserved job.

 A barrier or barricade is a physical structure
which blocks or impedes something. Barrier to
entry, are obstacles that make it difficult to
entering.
 one of the major barrier I have gone through is
permission from the manager for my field
activity.
Example: when I went to Toy shop manager did
not allow me to take the survey. He said he
can’t take picture.
 Types of barriers: There are three barriers
which I had faced.
1. Communication barrier
2. Physical barrier
3. Personal barrier
1. Communication barrier: There are several
barriers that effects the flow of
communication in an organization this barriers
interrupt the flow of communication from the
sender to receiver, thus making
communication ineffective.
2. Physical barrier: Physical barrier consist of any
sound that prevents a person from being
heard. Physical noise interferes with speakers
ability to send message and with an audience’s
ability to receive them.
3. Personal barrier: Personal barrier open new
levels of awareness, dissolves barriers and aids
personal growth. The biggest personal barriers
originate below our personal radar. The
barriers that elude you are very clever defense
mechanisms that operate so quickly they
appear to be natural, intelligent choices, but in
reality they are nothing more then personal
growth and development.
Based on all these experiences I will try to
improve in many factors that are:
o Type of approach
o Knowledge on market
o Good customer interaction
Unit 3: LO1 (M3)

Things which I would do to improve

organization that helps individual develop
Good public speaking skills.

out if he has some problems in writing.

you going to tell.
