I'm a mathematician searching for patterns in the brain.
* I built kinetic Monte Carlo models (and countless molecular dynamics models that didn't pan out) and discovered a novel, nonlinear dispersion method.
* I used new nonlinear transport methods to visualize component parts of the brain.
* I developed a high velocity (2 gigabytes/second), low latency (100 microsecond) pipeline for brain imaging.
* ...and a scalable, distributed image processing pipeline for analyzing terabyte-sized datasets.
I have three interests:
1. I read all the time - if I'm not reading, I'd probably be listening to an audiobook. I'd make an excellent librarian (and a handful of popular personality tests would...
