Currently an adjunct professor with Adelphi University, James Brown previously served as Principal at Baldwin Middle School in Baldwin, New York. While at Baldwin Middle School, James Brown spurred significant improvement in grades and test scores via a variety of positive administrative and educational initiatives. Following this position, he served as founding Principal of Baldwin's Hastings Academy, where he supervised students and staff members while establishing the district's first-ever alternative high school. As a testament to the quality of his dedication and service, Brown has received a number of awards and commendations throughout the course of his career.
