My passion for education, travel, and social justice has taken me around the world and back. I've explored challenging teaching environments in New York City, Austin, Texas, and Taipei, Taiwan. I am working towards my degree in counseling while I continue to keep my hands in education through work as a teaching assistant at the University of Minnesota and work with The New Teacher Project. To me, there is nothing more inspiring than learning and building new skills sets, and I hope to continue my formal and informal education throughout my lifetime.
