3. Photoshop
• I used Photoshop to create the front cover of my magazine. In
Photoshop I cropped the background out from the image so it
looks more professional and helps it to stand out more. I also
made my background in Photoshop which is a bright colourful
background which relates to a club in which dance music is
played.

4. Quark
• I used quark to design and produce my music magazine
contents page and double page spread. In my opinion it was
easier to use than Photoshop as it was easier to understand
and less technical. I managed to create a standard contents by
using text box connect tab to help me connect text from box
to box which was handy.

5. Camera
• I used the camera to take all the pictures that are on my final
products. Without the camera my products would not of
looked as professional. The camera made the pictures look
more professional as the camera I used was a high quality
Canon slr camera which are top of the range and made my
pictures look top of the range and not out of focus and blurry.

6. DaFont
• I used DaFont to create most of the text you see on my
products as they make the magazine look more professional.
My favourite font was American captain as it stood out and
looked professional. DaFont was very useful at gave me a
large amount of different texts to choose from.

7. Google
• Google was a very useful tool for me while designing my
products as I was able to gain inspiration from other
magazines from searching them through Google. Through
this I was able to understand what audience and type of
magazine I wanted to produce.

8. Blogger
• I used blogger to record all of my work over the past year
throughout the course. It is very simple to use and is easily
accessible and presented well. It easy to access your work and
edit it. It your own space to store your work so you know if
your work is complete or not.
