This presentation provide two approaches to addressing the lifecycle refresh requirements for a colleges multi-mediated teaching stations. The approach demonstrate show to solve the issues when it is budgetary and there is a need for consistency in the technology.

VHS VHS players are no longer manufactured as of December 31, 2008 Unable to buy new combos units as of February 2009 Purchased a batch of 40 in May 2009 but had to switch vendors as JVC was the last vendor to manufacturer them. Current units should last until end of FY 2012 May be able to get used refurbished/off brand, but unreliable Curriculum and budget impact to discontinue or convert to DVD format or online
