This document discusses the negative effects of "neuro-semantic polluters" like music, TV, movies, and video games on today's youth. It argues that these media promote teen pregnancy, glamorize gangs, and negatively influence youth beliefs about violence, sex, drugs, and alcohol. The document proposes ways to reduce this influence, including increasing parental control over content, decreasing distribution of polluting media to teens, educating teens about media messages, and changing artists' beliefs that racy content is necessary for commercial success.
