Dymetrol is a suspension system manufactured from a high performance monofilament and polyester yarns which are thermally bonded to offer critical benefits unequalled in the industry……and is the solution for ultimate seating comfort, highly desirable in the lightweight segments within the aerospace industry.
Beautiful, game-changing seating solutions exhibit a slim-line profile and reduce weight and mass, critical to the aerospace industry. Dymetrol’s capabilities offer lightweight aircraft seating design that provide unsurpassed comfort, space savings, durability and design flexibility.
Our suspension system offers a weight savings per seat ranging from 680 grams to 4 kilograms. This means less weight– which OBVIOUSLEY translates to better fuel economy and… less mass provides more passenger room, space and potentially more seats in any application.
Our suspension seating system replaces springs, non-recyclable polyurethane foams, wires, clips and insulators. Installation of Dymetrol is simple - significantly decreasing assembly time or use of special tools.
Dymetrol’s versatility not only offers styling/design flexibility, but its adaptability also brings additional benefits such as durability, better passenger comfort and a long service life.
To reiterate these benefits. Using a three airline seat// A typical three seat set weighs 40 kilograms (89 lbs). In the rework we removed the metal pan and the foam from the back rest///re-engineered the seat cushion which cover the headrest and the back covers which eliminated 11 kilograms (or 24 lbs) of weight and mass. The new re-engineered seat set using our Dymetrol CS150 suspension system weighed in at 29 kilograms.
That’s a significant weight reduction of 25%! The industry has made significant strides since the introduction of Dymetrol.
