The document discusses photographs taken for a pop magazine that the author felt needed improvement. The photos were too dark, blurred, or did not match the genre of pop music. To make the photos more suitable for the pop magazine, the author re-shot them with better lighting, backgrounds, and focus to create bright, high-quality images that would appeal to readers of a pop magazine.
2. I think this picture is too
dark for the styles of a pop
magazine. This picture
shows a more grungy
genre such as punk/rock.
3. I personally quite like this picture
although again it does not suit the
genre of pop. I also did this picture
in a sepia style camera format.
4. This is the sepia format of the
picture above, I think this
picture looks quite vintage and
oldie-worldie.
5. I think this picture
looks too blurred and
not professional.
6. I think this
picture would
look better if it
was in focus and
the background
more lighter,
possibly in
daylight.
7. Again, I think
this picture
would look
better in
daylight
although the
colours of the
jumper work
quite well.
8. I don't like this
picture as it is very
dark and you can
hardly see the
actually subject of
the image.
9. I think this picture
could be improved
as the
lighting, backgrou
nd and camera
isn't in focus. This
makes the images
looked blurred
and at poor
quality.
10. I really like this
image but the
darkness makes
this photograph
not suit the genre
of ‘Pop’. In
addition, I believe
that it is quite
pixelated which
lowers the quality.
11. About the photographs and why I have
decided to improve them.
These photograph’s was originally going to be used
for the magazine although I felt that these pictures
could be improved as the lighting and background
does not demonstrate similarities of ‘Pop’ magazines.
Therefore, I have re-done the magazine photographs
to fit into the genre of Pop. This will attract the more
suitable reader as the magazine is presented in a
bright coloured, positive layout.
