19. How do my students login to Discovery in Idaho?

Gather student info for initial login
Username: EDU ID number (9 digit number)
Default Password: 6 characters - first two letters in first name + 2 digit day
of birth (01-31) + first two letters
Students go to computer and open a private browsing window. This prevents
Schoolnet from caching their username and password.
Go to the site: idaho.discoveryeducation.com
Select student from the drop down list and then select school.
Students enter login information from step 1.
Once they login, they will be asked to change their password. The new
password must include a number and a letter. (You could make them all the
same.) Now they should be directed to the Discovery Education site.
At this point that student account is created within the Discovery system and students
can easily login to Discovery again through idaho.discoveryeducation.com. Teachers
can also go into Discovery and build a class by finding those students in the school
roster when they go to create a class.
