introduction In this presentation  you will learn all about termites and also you will learn how termites make there homes.  Enjoy!
What are Termites?  Termites are animals that are  white and have sharp teeth for biting or for chomping wood. Termites are almost like like ants but termites are white.
Where do termites live? Termites live in a place called mounds . Mounds could be 5mm long and could much taller than you! Mounds could made out of termites saliva.
How many days could the queen termite live up to?  The queen could live up to 15 years because she is so important  that she has to live for a long time and she is the termites that lays eggs.
How tall are termites mounds? Termites mounds are 5mm the mounds have to be really tall so then predators won’t reach the top of the hole .
Do the king or queen leave the royal chamber? The queen and the king never leave the royal chamber because the queen is fat and the king does not like leaving her queen in the castle and the soldiers don’t allow the king and king termite to go outside and because there is a lot of predators.
How do termites make mounds? Termites mounds are made out of their saliva.  But it takes a little time to dry then once its dry it gets really hard as stone.
How do termites cool off? Termites make a hole into there mounds with there sharp teeth and some air comes into the mounds and termites are not hot anymore.
How big can the queen get? The queen termite could be up to 140mm long because every second the queen termite is laying eggs and she keeps on getting bigger.
