Throughout history, classic literature has appealed to modern audiences due to the relevance of
themes in the piece. Playwright William Shakespeare's romantic tragedy Romeo and Juliet (1599) is
a classic piece that explores the themes; love and impetuousness of youth. These themes are
portrayed through the star–crossed lovers' story and still reflect the universal themes that people
experience today. Love is an intense feeling of deep affection. This can be seen in Romeo and
Juliet due to the degree that the young lovers go to for each other. This key theme is delineated
when Romeo has a monologue about Juliet and how he feels about being banished to never see
her again. He says, "'Tis torture and not mercy. Heaven is here, / Where Juliet lives, and every cat
and dog / And little mouse, every unworthy thing, / Live here in heaven and may look on her,
/ But Romeo may not." Shakespeare uses animal imagery to portray how jealous Romeo is of
something as menial as animals, as well as depicting how he feels about not being able to see
Juliet. Animal imagery can also be linked to the concept of the Great Chain of Being to show how
inferior every living thing is compared to Juliet. This links with the theme love because it shows the
audience how admirable Juliet is through Romeo's eyes. The Great Chain of Being was an
important belief in the Elizabethan worldview. However, even if the beliefs about humankind have
radically changed, the magnitude of the love Romeo feels is timeless. In modern texts, there are
scenes or chapters that mirror the type of over–exaggerated language used in the play, also known as

I Believe in Conquering My Fears My largest obstacle in this life will always be my own
anxiety–ridden mind. Conquering my fears is one of the most terrifying, wonderful, and

Everyone, in some form or fashion, has a desire to understand and question the purpose and
meaning of their life. In fact, it's important for people to understand the true meaning of the purpose
they have in life so that they may live well here on Earth. Philosophers, such as Socrates, Aristotle,
and Confucius began to question the life of a human being and what it meant to be a human being.
Each of these philosophers has their own philosophy or worldview of the best life a human being
can live, with the concept of having wisdom and virtue being the key components. In fact, each of
these philosophers expresses the importance of having a life full of wisdom and virtue based off
what they describe as the best life for a human being.
Socrates, according the Apology, describes the best life for a human being is to live the examined
life by having a "care for the soul". Basically, he believes that people should examine their lives by

"Everyone thinks that a new place or a new identity will jump fast a new life." – Caroline Leavitt.
My story starts in the year 2017 when I decided to follow up on my dream and go to a far–away
land, called the United States of America. My journey is full of new surprises and discoveries of a
world so different from the one I am leaving behind, with its own beliefs and culture. This is the
story of an eighteen–year boy and his first encounter with a new society, his first time away from
home and family. It was not an easy decision moving to a different country, leaving behind
everything and everybody, but I had the anxiety of traveling and seeing this new world that I had

Ready to eat, I loaded my fork and shoved it into my mouth. My mouth slightly watered in pure

which a bank is able of satisfying its respective liabilities. Banks generate money by mobilizing
short–term savings of the people converting into deposits at lower interest rate, and then lending
these funds in long–term loans at higher rates of interest, so it is quite risky for banks to mismatch
their lending interest rate. Liquidity is measured by the level of earnings, the fifth component of
CAMEL Framework is liquidity (stability of customer, whether loans and deposits are well
matched and overall liquidity position), and it is an important element for both good and bad
banks. All banks are highly concerned for their liquidity risk; i.e., the problem which arise due to
the bank failure in meeting its current financial obligations (e.g., depositors) because of
inadequate current assets such as cash and quickly cash type marketable securities, Specifically at

New York City is mostly known as the city that never sleeps. The city earned its nickname because
it is full of life and there is always something going on somewhere. It's like a magical place that
attracts people from all over the world, from tourists who want to visit the many historic
landmarks that the city has to offer, to immigrants who come here with hope to achieve a better

And walking fast will not only get them inside sooner but it can warm them up meanwhile. Later
on, my sister decided to take me to Times Square. I didn't want to go because it was too cold but
she dragged me anyway. We took the subway and had to wait for the train for few minutes. The
station platform was crowded and most people were standing on the yellow platform. I had to
resist the urge to tell them to move back because I felt that it was not safe. Out of curiosity, I
decided to move to and see how the track looks. I was surprised, there were litter everywhere like
it was the garbage disposal. Two ladies started arguing right next to me. My sister pulled my hand
and we moved me back. Even though, I did not speak English, I could make out that they were
exchanging some offensive words. I wondered what would make them do such things. But after a
while living in this city, I have learned that something as futile as two people bumping into each
other on a crowded train can lead to a fight. In addition, there was a bunch of kid on the other side
of the subway who were making noises on their own. For a moment, I thought a fight would arise,
but my sister told me that is how most kids in NYC behave. With all these people and noises, you

ones from our country, thus exports will rise and the value of net exports will increase. If disposable
income abroad is low then exports will fall and the value of net exports will fall.
Disposable income at home. This refers to how much money people at home have available to
spend on luxuries. The more money people have at home, the likelier they are to spend – which can
result in a rise in imports. Rising imports will have a negative effect on net exports on the overall

Exchange rates. These play a large part in the value of net exports. A fall in a countries exchange
rate will reduce the price of exports and raise the price of imports, thus exports should rise and
imports fall – resulting in an increase in net exports. A rise in a countries exchange rate will raise
the price of exports and make imports cheaper, therefore making exports fall and imports rise. The
overall effect will be a fall in net exports.

My Favorite Music
Growing up, I've always been surrounded by music.
When I think of my childhood, I think of music. I think of my parents' tape cassettes and CDs and
my dad's guitar. I think of all the times my mum sang along to Kate Bush and Joni Mitchell on the
stereo while I played in the living room, I think of how my dad played guitar and sang Oasis and
Stereophonics. I remember admiring my dad, the lead singer of a band he created with my uncles
and his friends, and wishing I could be just like him.
As a child, music was one of my many sources of happiness. My first love was the early 2000s
pop–rock band Busted, but when Busted broke up in 2005, I quickly became obsessed with McFly

Now, as a teenager, music is my lifeline. I can't begin to count the number of times music has
soothed me, calmness washing over me in waves as I put in my earphones and tune out my hectic
everyday life. In the turbulent teenage years, especially, I feel safe in the thought that music is
always going to be there for me. No matter how sad or upset or angry I feel, there's always a song
that can pick my mood up and make me feel happy again.
One song that's really had an impact on my life is Gold by Britt Nicole. The year I was twelve was
one of the worst years of my life. I remember trudging home after a particularly terrible day at
school: my "friends" were cruel to me, my heart was all kinds of broken, and it felt like I would
never be able to stop crying. Instead of going straight home my usual way, I decided to take a
shortcut and pass by the little park I liked to play in when I was younger, in hopes that would
comfort me. And then, I decided to listen to some music.
Gold was the first song that started playing, and I remember the exact lyrics that made me feel so
much better: Whatever you've been told, you're worth more than gold.
Ever since that day, music has been a huge comfort to me; no matter how bad I'm feeling, I can
always find a song that will make me feel better.
It's not just listening to music that I love: songwriting is one of my favourite ways to express myself,
