 Working in L&T Technology Services as Executive Trainee in Technology
Solution & Innovation Center (TSIC) department.
 Mechanical Engineer working for design optimization of single shell and
multiple tubes heat exchanger deploying segmental baffle plates at a specified
distance apart from each other.
 Mechanical Engineer working for the administrative activities of the E-
learning platform “Moodle” for all educators and users.
PROJECT 1:
Project: To improve the performance of single shell and multiple tubes heat
exchanger deploying segmental baffle plates at a specified distance apart
from each other by proper symmetric arrangement of tubes within the
shell of heat exchanger that will give rise in heat transfer rate.
Role: Team member
Duration: June 2015 to Present.
Roles and Responsibilities:
 Research on what possible changes that we can make in the existence
equipment to serve the customer better and help to organization to
increase revenue.
 Study and analysis of which standard books that would be advisable to
refer.
 Detail study of the chapters from different books which describes the same
theory or principle which consistent with our project.
 Application of the concept or theory in our project.
 Focus on the particular problems, give the solution by writing down the
necessary programs for it in any of the reliable programming software like
MATLAB.

 Read the book for that programming language, understand the application
of each codes and simultaneous apply these codes in our MATLAB
programming.
 Review and scrutinize each and every codes by referring it 2 to 3 times so
as to avoid any errors as possible as and gives the accuracy.
 After making program successful, Study each and every cases for tube
distribution which is given in the standard reference book (process heat
transfer by Donald Q. Kern) and check that are there any bugs found or
not.
 Make datasheet for proper documentation of our values.
 Linked our program with CAD model for CAD customization and
compare the time taken to locate the coordinate of tubes in baffle plate of
Heat Exchanger in CAD model and MATLAB program.
 Do further analysis for better heat transfer rate by doing CFD
(Computational Fluid Dynamics) by providing proper data for it.
 Comparative study between different tube distribution pattern for effective
heat transfer rate.
 Make a report for the same.
PROJECT 2:
Project: “Moodle” activity is not a project based work, it is a consistent work in the work
culture of the L&T TS.
Role: Administrator
Introduction of Moodle:
 “Moodle” is an abbreviated of “Modular Object Oriented Dynamic Learning
Environment”, is a dynamic e-learning platform a software package designed to
help educators create quality online courses and manage learner outcomes.
 It is also called as Course Management System (CMS), Learning Management
System (LMS), Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and Learning Content
Management System (LCMS).
 It is an open source software which means that we are free to download and use it
without any bias and used for assessment.
 We can take assessment by uploading quiz for examinees and circulate material
if required among all users for reading purpose and get generated report for
assessment taken.
