1. Midterm Reflections
I have really enjoyed expanding my knowledge of the Spanish Language so far
this year in Spanish III. I have expanded my vocabulary of Spanish terms and practiced
speaking in more verb tenses. My understanding of grammar and writing has increased
as well as my ability to speak more like a native speaker.
So far this year, we have studied topics in Spanish very beneficial to everyday
life. We have studied art, places in the city, vacations, and things to do in the world
around us. We have done many oral activities to help us practice speaking and
conversing in Spanish. In addition to speaking, we have also practiced our writing skills
of proper Spanish.
This semester, I have found myself to be becoming a better speaker, writer, and
communicator of Spanish. However, I found remembering all of the different verb
tenses to be a challenge. Also, I found Direct and Indirect Object Pronouns to be
somewhat difficult as well.
I believe that this year has been very beneficial in learning Spanish to help me
communicate in society better. I definitely plan on continuing my study of the Spanish
language and culture my senior year in high school and in college. Hopefully my
studies and practice will pay off, and one day I will be fluent in the Spanish language.
