Trading Multiples – U.S. Internet Advertising companies are trading at a median LTM
revenue multiple of 3.3x, while International Internet Advertising companies are trading
at a median LTM revenue multiple of 2.6x.
M&A Activity – Strong M&A activity continued in 2Q 2014 with 51 deals totaling to
$1.2B in disclosed value, continuing the massive growth from 1Q. Notable transactions
include GTCR’s acquisition of Vocus ($413M), Google’s acquisition of Adometry ($150M),
and IBM’s acquisition of Silverpop Systems ($235M).
Investment Activity – Once again, investment volume rose by a substantial amount from
