Role:
Develop objectives and programs for all corporate marketing strategies which line up with the
corporate business plan. Manage the planning and direction of marketing toward the performance of
the corporate annual goals. Provide specialized technical and business knowledge to multiple
application development and enhancement projects utilizing Internet computing architectures.
Responsible for overseeing the creation and maintenance of the organization's internal and external
web site components and oversee in all phases of Web development cycle.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists Marketing SVP in the development and execution of the annual marketing plan and budget.
Oversees the marketing staff and directs their projects toward the implementation of the corporate strategic plan.
Maintains and reports on the status of marketing budget expenses; maintains marketing compliance file system.
Develops and directs media advertising and sales literature directly or through advertising agencies and outside
vendors.
Develops, directs, and implements production and distribution of member announcements of new products and
services through advertising media.
Oversees the development of new products/services that align with corporate goals and strategies.
Oversees all corporate publications including design, content, and alignment with corporate goals.
Oversees all phases of the market research function which includes but not limited to the MCIF, third party vendors
and internal trending of financial product growth and other matrixes.
Directs all strategic public and community relations projects for the credit union. This includes press releases, press
contacts, and all community engagement projects.
Provides strategic direction, support, and growth for all credit union eCommerce strategies and initiatives.
Attends the required annual BSA and Red Flag training and passes the required tests with an adequate score.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience Five years to ten years of similar or related experience.
Education A college degree.
Interpersonal Skills The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a
significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or
externally) is an important part of the job.
Other Skills Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field. At least 5 years previous
marketing experience in the fields of financial industry product development,
marketing research, web design or advertising preferred. Must have project
management expertise, PC word processing, spreadsheet skills and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of financial terminology and banking or credit union industry
operations a plus. Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent
analytical skills required.
