19. Vision Today we are here to honor the life of Jason Michael Wethington. He was known by many as a friend, father, grandfather, and husband. His favorite of those roles undoubtedly was being the father of two of the best children I know. Jason always found time in his busy work schedule to be with his kids. I have spent a lot of time with Jason and I had never seen him happier than when he was with his kids, grandchildren, and beautiful wife. I know Jason was extremely proud of them all. Another passion of Jason’s was helping the less fortunate in the community. He donated to many organizations that put the money right back into the surrounding area. He not only donated money though. He also enjoyed donating his time doing things such as helping the local Future Farmers of America chapter during their contests and serving Thanksgiving dinners to the hungry with his wife. He told me that he thought that giving back was a very important part of life. He always wanted to give back to the place that helped him get his start. Jason’s business was his life’s work. It was a lot of long hours and stress for him at first, but once he got it off the ground, it provided more than enough for him and his family. I know that he felt great about leaving his business in his children’s hands to help provide for his family for years to come. The business will be his legacy. Finally, if I had to wrap up Jason in just one word, I would call him dedicated. He worked hard for his family to provide them with everything they needed and to build up his business to what it has become today. Jason was a great man who will be missed by his family, his employees, and his community. If my life goes right, my life will look much like this eulogy speech I had to write for myself in class
