These are the particularities of those born before the revolution, in the 1950s and 1960s – first generation to benefit from the universal access of the compulsory education (4 years) of those born in the hot years that followed the revolution – political change, the discourse of rights and meritocracy for social mobility; TV domestication - and those born after the entrance to the EU – the consumerism culture, expansion of the media
Parents , born in the 1950s and 1960s – answering to the question about playing in their childhood, show sharing a generational semantic, i.e., the same criteria for interpreting or expressing the experience, these being organized 1) around the experience of making toys (a ball, dools food, the street) – absence of industrial toys – and 2) around the absence of the media, while the radio existed since 1930s and television was emerging – low media penetration. These answers reveal in the mico level of the families the scarcity of resources and the pre-industrial times as far as children ’s cultural industries are concerned.
